The crofter, Anders Peter Wasell, was born April 9, 1865.
He lived in Västeråsen Village, Fors Parish.
He emigranted with his wife, Ingrid Katarina, and their son, Olof Wilhelm in 1892.
They boarded the SS Domino in Trondheim, on May 25th and traveled to Rush City, Minnesota.
The homestead they left is still standing.
